My Place Gloucestershire Terms and Conditions
A contract will be bound between you and My Place Gloucestershire on receipt of your payment.
All prices are quoted in UK pounds sterling. They are based on costs prevailing at the time of quotation and may be subject to change. Any discounts and
special offers are only applicable at the time of booking and cannot be applied once the booking has been confirmed.
Method of payment
Credit/ Debit cards (sorry, not American Express)
Payment by bank transfer, details will be provided with your invoice
If you intend to pay by bank transfer this should reach our account net of all bank charges. Please ask your bank to show your name and invoice number on the transfer.
A booking is not secured until payment has been received. A deposit of 50% is required up front, with the balance due 28 days before the commencement of the stay. However, if the rental period commences within 28 days of the enquiry then payment is required in full.
For stays of over 1 week or during the Cheltenham Races a refundable damage deposit of £250.00 is required. This is held separately in a client account until after your stay is complete. It is then refunded provided there has been no damage done to the property during your stay.
Where applicable, should the balance of payment not reach us within the required time, we reserve the right to cancel any reservations made and the deposit will be forfeited.
If you need to cancel your booking, you must inform My Place Gloucestershire in writing as soon as possible via e-mail address: email@example.com
The following cancellation charges apply:
Where charged, damage deposits will be returned in full for cancellations.
Property damage and breakages: will be invoiced within 7 days of the end of the stay for immediate settlement.
We advise that you obtain appropriate and adequate travel and personal insurance cover as depending on the reasons for your cancellation, you may be able to reclaim
our cancellation charges from your insurance company.
If you alter your booking
If you wish to alter your booking once a written confirmation has been issued, e.g. change of dates and decreasing the length of stay, we will make every effort to meet your request and an administration fee of £25 will be payable to us once any change has been made. No administration charge will apply if you extend your booking beyond the period booked.
Extension of bookings
Extensions of current reservations are subject to availability and rate change. In order to confirm your extension, full payment is required at the time you inform us of the notification.
Accommodation and occupancy
Although accommodation is confirmed in advance, the exact property cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival.
The number of people allowed to occupy each property is limited to the number of beds advertised; this may include fold out beds or air beds.
Arrivals and departures
Properties are available from 3:00pm on the day of arrival to 10:00am on the day of departure. All additional hours will be charged as one day unless otherwise agreed.
Return of Keys
All My Place Gloucestershire keys in your possession must be returned upon departure. Any unreturned or lost keys will be charged at £30 for replacement.
In the event that you need to check out prior to the agreed departure date, any refund for the remainder of the stay will be subject to the property being re-let. In addition to this, there will be an administration fee of £25 and this will be deducted from any refunds due.
Security deposit/end of tenancy charges
Valid credit card details will be required to cover any additional charges and breakages at the time of booking. My Place Gloucestershire reserves the right to
deduct from that card all amounts chargeable. We will notify you of the charges prior to deducting from your credit card.
Out of office calls
Any non-urgent calls made to our 24 hour property manager out of office hours will be charged at £20. Out of office hours fall between 17:00pm in the evening until 09:00 am the following day.
Loss or damage
My Place Gloucestershire cannot be held responsible in any way for loss or damage to, contents, furniture, fittings or any personal belongings at the property. Nor can we be held liable for the acts or defaults caused by third parties. You are also advised to ensure your own insurance policies cover loss or damage to personal property during your stay.
Broadband is supplied to most of My Place Gloucestershire’s properties. Where broadband is available, My Place Gloucestershire will try to ensure that this service is available at all times. If there is a fault which is deemed by My Place Gloucestershire to be connected with the user's hardware or software, no support will be available.
My Place Gloucestershire cannot be held responsible for any failure or interruption of services to the property, including electricity and water or any damage, disruption or noise caused as a result of repair works being carried out outside or in another part of the property.
We regret that pets are not allowed into any of our properties.
My Place Gloucestershire operates a NO SMOKING POLICY. Smoking is not allowed in any area of the properties. If, in our reasonable opinion, smoking has occurred in the property during your stay we reserve the right to charge £75 for additional cleaning of the property.
Parking is not guaranteed for the property, unless otherwise stated.
Cleaning and linen
Linen and towels will be replaced on the days specified by us. Weekly refresh cleans will commence from 9:00am on the specific day, if the cleaners are turned away for any reason, then the cleaning will not be-re-scheduled until the following week. If you require additional cleaning on top of the scheduled cleaning, these will be charged at £30 per clean.
Where the property requires in excess of two hours cleaning after departure, My Place Gloucestershire reserves the right to charge for additional cleaning time at
£10 per hour.

The details in My Place Gloucestershire’s packages can change from time to time without prior notice. We will do our best to ensure that any changes will be communicated direct in writing. We cannot be held responsible for the service given by third party providers.
